NLPOA Fresno County in the 2017 Veteran’s Parade

The NLPOA Fresno County Chapter participated again in the 98th Annual Fresno Veteran’s Parade on Saturday, November 11, 2017, which is now the largest Veteran’s Parade in the Nation. It is an honor to be able ride in the parade with such distinguished Men and Women, who gave of themselves to protect and fight for our safety and freedom. Thousands of community members came out to cheer our Veterans. Armando Hindman, Vice President, NLPOA Fresno County, has coordinated this event for this Chapter in the past five years. He has done a great job in working with various members of the community to ensure NLPOA Fresno County is involved. This year with the support of our members, Dan Martin, Retired Navy and his brother Alex Martin, retired Army Sergeant, we rode in their pontoon boat, decorated with military flags from each service. Our Parliamentarian Israel Aguilar, who maneuvered through the parade without a hitch, drove the truck.
